Book
Forge M:28 brings a fully equipped mobile forge right to your location — garage, barn, or open workspace — and leads a small group of 3–4 people through the unforgettable experience of forging their own custom knife. Participants will heat, hammer, and shape their creation from raw steel to finished blade.
This experience can include faith-based discipleship woven into the process or simply focus on the joy of craftsmanship and teamwork.
Perfect for: Families, small groups, men’s gatherings, and corporate team experiences.

Who is this experience designed for?
Literally anyone. Church groups, families, friends or co-workers. Men, women or youth.
Do participants actually forge something themselves?
Yes. Under close supervision, participants engage in real forging work and will go home with a finished knife or other project.
How many can participate?
We are equipped to serve four people for a standard event. If you want something larger, we can discuss some options.
Is prior experience required?
No experience is necessary. The event is designed for beginners and includes safety instruction, guidance, and support throughout the process.
Are there age restrictions?
We ask that someone has the maturity to be able to follow instructions and handle themselves safely in a working environment with tools and fire. Generally, teenagers and up do well. All participants will sign a liability waiver. If a participant is a minor, they will need a parent or guardian to sign.
What are the space and setup requirements?
The Hands-On Forging Experience can be hosted in your garage, pole barn, pavilion or outdoor area. We just need enough floor space to accommodate the number of participants.
Is there a spiritual component
This event can include a spiritual element to whatever degree the organizer desires or it can be strictly a blacksmithing event. Either way, it will be a once in a lifetime experience.
What is the cost and role of the host?
We charge $200 per participant and travel expenses if over 100 miles. We ask that the group help set up and tear down. Depending on the length and timing of the event, the host may provide a meal or snack. Forge M:28 will provide cold water to stay hydrated.
